Bio

In 2007 Pippa emigrated from South Africa with her baby-brood and continued her career as an Educator in Auckland Central. In the years that followed, she implemented and refined successful teaching strategies that saw her students thrive. Soon, she was appointed as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), giving her a first-hand experience of the challenges that schools and parents faced when accessing the support needed.

In 2014 Pippa was awarded a TeachNZ Study Scholarship, qualifying with a P.G.Dip.Ed in Inclusive Practice through Massey University. Thereafter, Pippa accepted a role as an RTLB (Resource Teacher of Learning and Behaviour) where she continued to apply her systems-wide understanding of evidence-based interventions.

Pippa continued to study, qualifying with a P.G.Dip in Specialist Education with a Learning and Behaviour Specialisation. In 2019, Pippa was offered the new Ministry of Education (MOE) role of a Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) for 2020, working across schools and with MOE to provide access to services within schools.

It took a year of groundwork to affirm what she had always known; there needed to be a change in how support was allocated and resourced.

Read more about the WHY here…

At the start of 2021, she launched IncludeME Ltd, providing families access to specialist services usually reserved for an exclusive few.

Pippa’s commitment, empathy and high regard for evidence-based practice is exactly what families need.

IncludeME Limited has become IncludeME SES and Thrive Assessment Services, operating across New Zealand in a way that provides excellent services on the ground , without any excuses.
