Post 6 - One Family’s Struggle

So as many of our community know, I left the public sector at the end of 2020. Why? Because I am absolutely confident that there is a better way for your child to get support. The public sector isn’t that way.

Since starting this service - I have been asked 2 questions on a regular basis; Where are you based ? and How are you different from the services that are on offer at school already?

The first is an easy answer: Anywhere you want me to be :-) The second, not so easy. To be honest, “how are you different from the public sector?” is like asking someone about Global Warming while they are trying to order coffee from a waitress who is impatient; in Russia! It is a HUGE question! Not only is the answer full of detail , layers, sub-plots, shocking twists, but it is also difficult for someone like myself to answer such a question in words. Yes, I too learn differently and so I too communicate my understanding better using charts, maps, info-grams or organisers. So, I have created this metaphor - a visual one, explaining things a little better than I can using words.
